The MCMD-B SF6 density relay calibrator is an intelligent, fully automatic instrument for calibrating SF6 density relays.
The MCMD-B SF6 density relay calibrator is an intelligent, fully automatic instrument for calibrating SF6 density relays.
This instrument employs single-cycle instruction microcomputer technology, achieving a operating speed ten times that of conventional microcontrollers. It is capable of performing on-site calibration of SF6 density relays with both analog pointer-type contact outputs and intelligent current-output types, utilizing an interrupt-driven approach to capture relay operation events in real time, thereby ensuring more accurate and timely measurements. This instrument is a portable calibration device that performs standard pressure conversion for SF6 gas under any ambient temperature conditions, and it can also automatically calibrate SF6 density gauges and pressure gauges.
In a closed container, the pressure of SF6 gas at a given temperature is representative of its density. By convention, the SF6 gas pressure at 20°C is taken as the reference value. During field verification, pressure readings taken at different ambient temperatures must be converted to their equivalent values at 20°C in order to assess the performance of the SF6 density relay.
The MCMD-B SF6 density relay calibrator automates the entire calibration process, offering convenient operation and accurate measurements, with a simple and intuitive Chinese-language menu.

1. The relay tester employs a mixed-signal, single-cycle, high-speed microcontroller as its core. This microcontroller boasts abundant resources, powerful functionality, and strong data-processing capabilities. By integrating A/D conversion, D/A conversion, a reference voltage source, and analog amplification within the microcontroller itself, the peripheral circuitry is simplified, resulting in excellent stability and high accuracy.
2. The instrument can perform fully automatic calibration of both analog and digital density relays.
3. The initial state of contacts in density relay sets 1 to 3 can be either normally open or normally closed; the instrument can simultaneously measure both the actuation and reset values for these sets, thereby enabling fully automated calibration of all new and legacy types of density relays.
4. The instrument features a large 320×240 LCD display and a Chinese-character operating interface, making it simple and convenient to use.
5. During measurement, the instrument simultaneously displays the current pressure, the pressure at 20°C, and the ambient temperature, thereby resolving the challenges associated with on-site calibration of SF6 density relays.
6. The testing process is fully automated, thereby eliminating errors caused by human factors.
7. The instrument can store 100 sets of measurement data, which are permanently retained without loss, ensuring traceability for every measurement.
8. The instrument can upload test data to a PC via the RS-232 interface and automatically generate a dedicated test data spreadsheet.
9. The instrument can perform calibration of ambient-pressure gauges and density meters at any ambient temperature.
10. All instrument tubing is equipped with imported quick-connect fittings, ensuring convenient connections and a low leak rate.
11. The instrument is equipped with a built-in clock function, allowing for clock correction at any time.
12. The instrument is equipped with a self-calibration function. After prolonged use, the instrument can be calibrated and adjusted to ensure its measurement accuracy.
13. The instrument employs high-precision pressure sensors and world-leading magnetorheological fluid technology products.
14. The instrument is equipped with a variety of switch transition connectors, allowing most switches to be calibrated without disassembly.
15. Equipped with a high-capacity built-in battery and an on-screen battery-charge display, this instrument offers extended operational autonomy and facilitates on-site calibration.

A customer in Shanxi has purchased one set of our MCYZ-308 zinc oxide surge arrester tester!
The live-testing instrument for zinc oxide surge arresters is used to evaluate the electrical performance of each phase of a zinc oxide surge arrester (MOA). This instrument is suitable for on-site live testing of zinc oxide surge arresters across all voltage levels, as well as for factory and acceptance tests conducted in the laboratory under de-energized conditions. By measuring parameters such as total current and resistive current, it can promptly detect hazardous defects, including internal insulation moisture absorption and valve element aging, in zinc oxide surge arresters.
