Definition: The gas relay tester is used in power systems to verify the operating flow rate of the heavy-gas protection, the operating volume of the light-gas protection, and the sealing test of the gas relay for transformers, as well as to test the opening and closing pressures of pressure-relief valves. It simulates internal transformer faults to measure the instantaneous pulse flow rate using the differential-pressure method, with microcomputer-based measurement and control, digital display, and automatic printing.

The transformer gas relay calibrator is a newly designed device for the calibration and testing of gas relays. It simulates the operating mechanism of gas relays during internal transformer faults, employing next-generation embedded control and high-precision sensor measurement technology to accurately calibrate the flow velocity threshold for heavy-gas protection operation and the gas volume threshold for light-gas protection operation. The instrument features one-button operation, rapid testing, high accuracy, and an elegant user interface.

Functional Features:

1. This calibrator features a precisely engineered pipeline design, leverages high-precision digital sensor technology, and incorporates optimized algorithms running on a high-speed ARM chip platform, thereby significantly enhancing both measurement accuracy and speed. Its newly designed oil-return principle and specially engineered flange adapter enable time- and labor-saving, stable calibration of gas relays across a wide range of common market specifications (Φ25, Φ50, Φ80).

2. This device overcomes the shortcomings of similar equipment, which can only measure a single specification of gas relay, requires the operator to repeatedly invert the device during measurement, suffers from low measurement accuracy and poor repeatability, and involves cumbersome operating procedures. Equipped with a specially designed flange adapter and incorporating an imported high-precision pressure control system and a fully intelligent measurement system, this device enables operators to complete all required tests on gas relays quickly and easily with a single button press. Test results can be printed via the built-in miniature printer or saved to a USB flash drive. The flow rate measurement accuracy reaches 0.01 m/s, and the volume measurement resolution is 5 ml.

3. The equipment exhibits stable performance. Oil, electricity, and gas are completely isolated from one another; signal lines, power cables, and pneumatic tubing are entirely segregated; each module is arranged in a separate compartment with comprehensive shielding, thereby fully ensuring the equipment’s adaptability to and reliability in field testing environments.

4. The technical performance of this tester is comparable to that of expensive large-scale stationary oil-pump calibration benches, while offering advantages such as compact size, portability, simple operation, suitability for field testing, and significant savings in equipment and laboratory investment.
