Product Overview

The MC-0301D device is an integrated meter-source unit designed in accordance with the accuracy test requirements specified in the State Grid Corporation of China enterprise standard Q/GDW 1817-2012, “Verification Specifications for Voltage Monitors.” The core technology of the meter section is a 0.05-class power-frequency AC data acquisition system composed of a digital signal processor (DSP) and a 16-bit high-speed analog-to-digital converter, while the source section employs a DSP and a 16-bit digital-to-analog converter to generate sinusoidal signals or distortion waveforms with programmable characteristics. The device also incorporates a component with an accuracy of 1×10 -6 a standard timer. The device can be used to determine the combined measurement error of statistical and recording-type monitoring instruments, as well as the total voltage monitoring time, the duration of voltage excursions above the upper limit, the duration of voltage excursions below the lower limit, sensitivity tests, power supply voltage and frequency tests (under normal operating environmental conditions), harmonic influence tests, and more. When the monitoring instrument’s own power consumption is ≤3 VA, each voltage output channel has the capability to simultaneously drive a load of 10 voltage monitoring instruments (provided that the instruments share the same rated operating supply voltage, or are externally powered with the same rated monitoring voltage). During precision testing of the monitoring instruments, the voltage ramp-up and ramp-down process can be controlled by a program. The device can output distorted waveforms containing harmonics from the 2nd to the 32nd order, with the harmonic order, amplitude, and phase relationship between harmonics and the fundamental wave all being programmably adjustable. This device can also perform online measurements of AC voltage, harmonic content in the voltage (up to the 32nd harmonic), and voltage distortion, among other parameters.
