Product Overview

Measurement of DC resistance is a mandatory test for semi-finished and finished products in the manufacturing of inductive coils such as transformers, instrument transformers, reactors, and electromagnetic operating mechanisms, as well as for factory acceptance tests, installation tests, handover tests, and preventive tests conducted by power utilities. This test effectively identifies manufacturing defects—including material selection issues, poor soldering, loose or missing wire strands, and broken wires—as well as operational hazards that may arise after commissioning. To meet the need for rapid DC resistance measurement of inductive coils, our company has leveraged its technological strengths to develop a dedicated DC resistance tester. The instrument incorporates cutting-edge power-supply technology and features a compact footprint, lightweight design, portability, high output current, wide measurement range, digital display, and battery-powered operation with an internal lithium battery. The entire unit is microcontroller-controlled, enabling automatic self-test, data processing, and display functions, along with built-in automatic discharge and discharge-warning capabilities. With high testing accuracy and simple operation, the instrument delivers fast and reliable DC resistance measurements.
