Product Overview

The MCYM-2 handheld three-phase energy meter field calibration instrument is a compact, lightweight, and easy-to-use metrological verification tool. It enables on-site verification of energy meter errors, inspection of the correctness of metering device wiring, testing of current transformer ratio and polarity, and measurement of power quality parameters (including voltage harmonics, current harmonics, voltage unbalance, and total harmonic distortion). Based on these tests, it can determine whether a customer is engaging in electricity theft, whether metering accuracy meets national standards, whether the customer is causing harmonic pollution to the power grid, and whether the power factor is within acceptable limits, thereby helping to prevent losses in the power system.

The instrument is equipped with a 500 A high-precision clamp-on current transformer, enabling direct measurement and diagnosis of the proper operation of low-voltage electric energy metering devices. It also functions as an electrical inspection tool and a phase volt-ampere meter, making it suitable for use as a standard and verification instrument in departments such as power supply inspection, power supply stations, metering, dispatching, and relay protection. Furthermore, it can integrate the functions of multiple testing instruments, making it an exceptionally cost-effective device.
