The single-phase handheld electric energy meter calibrator is a high-precision measuring instrument developed and manufactured by our company, integrating electrical parameter measurement, energy meter verification, CT ratio measurement, and fault analysis into one. The instrument employs an imported multi-function electrical parameter measurement chip (which incorporates a DSP controller internally, ensuring fast data acquisition and excellent stability) and is driven by a high-speed CPU, resulting in significantly improved measurement accuracy and stability compared with other products. Coupled with a clamp-on current transformer featuring high precision, high linearity, and a wide measurement range, on-site wiring is simple and straightforward—no need to disconnect the circuit or open the primary winding; power is drawn directly from the site, eliminating the need for a separate external power supply. The user-friendly LCD display interface supports menu-driven operation with Chinese character prompts and multi-parameter display, providing an intuitive human–machine interface that is easy and quick to use. A built-in virtual load, activated via a switch, facilitates accurate testing of energy meters under light-load conditions. Features such as multi-parameter display, energy meter verification, CT ratio measurement, verification data storage, real-time clock, and key-adjustable correction factors provide valuable diagnostic evidence for fault analysis of low-voltage metering devices, while also offering effective detection tools for power utilities to identify electricity theft and leakage, locate metering device faults, ensure accurate metering, and recover unduly billed energy.

Product Features

1. Conduct online, real-time load testing of metering equipment to determine its overall measurement error (including the energy meter, CT, and wiring errors) without interrupting power supply, altering the metering circuit, or opening the metering equipment.

2. It can measure the comprehensive error of metering devices (including the basic error of the electric meter, transformer errors, and wiring errors), the basic error of the energy meter, the CT ratio, and various electrical parameters.

3. Measure various electrical parameters, including voltage, primary and secondary currents of the current transformer, power, and power factor, to accurately analyze and identify faults in the metering equipment circuit.

4. Measure the primary and secondary currents of the CT to determine the current transformer’s turns ratio and error.

5. The current circuit is measured using a clamp-on current transformer, allowing operators to perform measurements conveniently and safely without having to disconnect the circuit. The measurement range of the clamp-on current transformer is 15 A.

6. Automatic range switching for the voltage circuit: The voltage circuit automatically detects the input voltage range via its internal circuitry and switches to the appropriate range at all times. This prevents damage to the instrument even if the test voltage exceeds the specified limits.

7. When one phase of the voltage or current clamp is connected in reverse (resulting in negative power), the analyzer automatically triggers an alarm (the speaker sounds).

8. Calibration data for meters is stored permanently, with the capacity to save calibration data for up to 200 meters at a time. Users can view, review, and delete this data at any time by pressing buttons; alternatively, the data can be uploaded via the RS-232 serial port to a computer and saved in a database using dedicated background software for centralized management.

9. Real-time clock function allows you to check the current date (including the day of the week) and time (accurate to the second) at any time.

10. Features a large, high-brightness LCD display with Chinese character menu prompts for user-friendly human-machine interaction; the LCD brightness is adjustable via buttons to accommodate seasonal variations in LCD performance.

11. A new coefficient adjustment function has been added. By pressing a combination of keys, users can access the coefficient modification interface and conveniently adjust various internal coefficients of the instrument, including the high-frequency constant for electrical energy, the linear coefficient for electrical energy, the power factor compensation coefficient, the voltage indication coefficient, the current indication coefficient, and the power indication coefficient. Note: Users should not use this function lightly; it should only be employed when it is confirmed that the instrument’s accuracy is inadequate and when higher-grade standard instruments are available.
