The MC-3310C Transformer Comprehensive Tester is an instrument that integrates a three-channel DC resistance tester, a low-voltage short-circuit impedance tester, and a on-load tap changer tester, designed for testing large power transformers.

Product Features

  • Simultaneous three-phase testing and automatic magnetization assistance;
  • It is possible to connect all high- and low-voltage current and potential test leads to the transformer at once, eliminating the need to rewire during testing.
  • For winding tests with a star-connected neutral point, the resistance values of phases A0, B0, and C0 can be measured simultaneously in all three phases, significantly reducing test time.
  • When testing the low-voltage side of a three-phase, five-limb, low-voltage, internally delta-connected transformer, the automatic magnetization-assist method can be employed, which enables rapid testing.
