Product Overview

With the widespread adoption of power electronic devices, nonlinear loads have continued to increase, leading to a corresponding rise in harmonic content in the power grid. Harmonic pollution poses a potential threat to the safe, stable, and economical operation of power systems and exerts a significant impact on the surrounding electrical environment. For example, it depletes the reactive power reserves of the power system; increases transmission line losses; introduces additional harmonic losses in electric motors, causing overheating and reducing their service life; introduces substantial measurement errors in energy metering; and disrupts the operation of critical and sensitive automatic control and protection devices, resulting in an increase in both nuisance tripping and failure-to-trip events and thereby lowering system reliability.

The MCDZ-100B online harmonic monitor is a next-generation product from our company, capable of real-time monitoring and analysis of the fundamental and 2nd to 30th harmonic components of voltage and current on busbars and feeders in the power grid. It can issue alarms when harmonic levels exceed set limits and upload data to a backend monitoring system via RS485 or RS232 communication interfaces, thereby meeting users’ requirements for power quality monitoring.

This device is widely applicable to the power supply systems of power plants, substations, and large industrial and mining enterprises in sectors such as petroleum, coal mining, iron and steel, metallurgy, and chemical engineering, across voltage levels ranging from 380 V to 220 kV.

Product Features

1. Employs an advanced industrial-grade central processor that delivers high processing speed, stable operation, and strong anti-interference performance.

2. The device employs automatic frequency-locking technology, ensuring that it can still produce accurate analysis results even when the system frequency changes.

3. Based on the principle of the Fast Fourier Transform, the computation is rapid and accurate, enabling routine monitoring of the fundamental component and the 2nd to 30th harmonic voltages and currents, as well as the total harmonic distortion, in power lines.

4. The human-machine interface is user-friendly, featuring Chinese character display and simple, intuitive operation.

5. The device can record 60 limit-exceedance events.
