Product Features

● Automatically or manually verifies single-phase, three-phase three-wire, and three-phase four-wire active and reactive inductive energy meters as well as electronic energy meters (capable of receiving pulses from electronic energy meters).

● Measurable secondary burden of PTs and CTs. Calibration of electric energy meter constants; four-quadrant energy measurement.

● Simultaneously verifies the errors of both active and reactive energy meters, as well as the errors of primary and secondary meters, and automatically calculates the estimated standard deviation. For load management terminals and distribution transformer monitoring and metering terminals, active and reactive energy errors are verified concurrently; meter data—including energy readings, date, and time—are read via the 485 or infrared interface and stored.

● Equipped with standard communication interfaces such as RS485, RS232, infrared, and USB.

USB interface: Download verification work orders (including customer and meter information) from the marketing system via a USB flash drive; after completion of the verification, upload the inspection data back to the system using the same USB flash drive.

RS485 and far-infrared interfaces: The device shall be equipped with both of these interfaces, or alternatively shall support RS232 interface conversion, provided that it is supplied with compatible accessories capable of converting the RS232 interface to either of the two specified interfaces. These two interfaces are used to read metering data from the meters under calibration and from the terminals, including active energy, voltage, current, power, and phase angle, and also to perform broadcast time synchronization or command-based time synchronization (with the calibrator’s time serving as the reference). The communication protocol shall comply with DL/T 645–1997, DL/T 645–2007, the Guangdong Power Grid Corporation Distribution Transformer Monitoring and Metering Terminal Communication Protocol (Version 0903), and the Guangdong Power Grid Corporation Load Management Terminal Communication Protocol (Version 0903), among others.

● The clamp meter features an automatic self-calibration function, ensuring long-term accuracy and stability of the clamp-on current transformer. Its minimum test current capability is 1 mA when using a 5 A or 1 A clamp, enabling on-site wiring verification even when PTs and CTs are installed but no load is present. Furthermore, each phase performs self-checks against the others, thereby guaranteeing the instrument’s long-term accuracy and stability.

● Barcode scanning input. Use an external barcode scanner (USB interface or wireless) to read meter asset numbers, lead seal numbers, and other information, facilitating on-site data entry.

● Touchscreen handwriting input. Supports handwritten Chinese character entry, making it convenient to enter customer information on-site.

● The system employs China’s pioneering digital true reactive power measurement technology, ensuring that reactive power measurement is completely unaffected by voltage and current unbalance, phase angle asymmetry, frequency variations, and other factors. For the first time in China, this technology has raised reactive power accuracy to 0.1%.

●The instrument is designed without potentiometers, completely eliminating the risk of measurement errors caused by external factors such as transportation, thereby significantly enhancing system stability and reliability. Within the temperature range of –20°C to +40°C, it guarantees electrical energy measurement accuracy of 0.1% or 0.05%.

● Can be equipped with a 0.2-class 5 A clamp meter (including errors due to non-repeatability of opening and closing, contact errors, external magnetic field interference, phase error, etc.).

● Can be equipped with 20 A, 100 A, 500 A, or 1000 A clamp meters for direct measurement of low-voltage metering combined error; when used in conjunction with a 5 A clamp, it can directly measure CT turns ratio.
